A semi-classical European living room with detailed wall mouldings and gold accents, as the client requested. The main constraint shaped the design: the family’s teak seating, table and cabinetry had to stay untouched. The new envelope was built around these heritage pieces, so old craftsmanship and new detail read as one room.
